next time s programme

maybe 2010?
as for next year we already have other options.....you will hear more when the organisation for 2009 has been done...

for now - these are the three mountains still waiting for us....

the most difficult one... HUASCARAN...

the easiest 6000m peak to acclimatize....Chopicalqui

and the most beautiful one....our Artesonraju

back in Vienna

it is too hot and my head is aching......I think this is not my altitude....
but breakfast at Starbucks AND a good hot shower definitely did their trick...
but now all my clothes are washed, I am clean and washed...so Rupert when are we leaving again for the Artesonraju?

we will be back.......and we already have a programme:
acclimatization with trekking
Chopicalqui
Artesonraju
Huascaran

-----
and for THAT we are starting to train right away......
you will hear from us soon........

bye bye Peru....

and next stop New York city

and as a kind of contrast programme we now have a stop over in New York and went book shopping and turbo sightseeing in one of my favorite cities.....

why did we decide to go home at the first place?

and as a last highlight- La Rosa Nautica

and as this was our last night in Lima we, no Rupert treated us very nicely...and went to THE restaurant in Lima...
the Rosa Nautica...the best fish restaurant in town......

a wonderfully romantic spot and sensational good food....
what a treat- thank you !!!!!!

cinema

well that was not so difficult- but here comes the question....
which film did we watch?
oh no....nothing cultural or well yes it probably depends on the definition of "cultural"....

we went into Sexo en la ciudad.......

no comment on that here....

comments only personally....just as a hint...we went for drinks afterwards.....

rainy afternoon in Lima-what to do?

and as the SMC office was still open, we checked our availabilities and you would NEVER believe what we decided to do...
any guesses?

my new office in Lima

and I thought I need to wait until New York for my chai....
oh no...I already had it today....JIPPIE!
and YES I have been working....

and to be honest...
YES this is something I really missed....
now that I tasted my chai again......

and as in Mannheim as well they were asking for our names and the whole cafe laughed at "Rupert" but they spelled it correctly...what a laugh...
